GovDelivery provides similar services for a number of other government entities and offers unique ability to allow NWS customers to not only subscribe to NWS bulletins, but to also learn about email updates available from agencies with missions related to NWS.

This experiment is intended to explore methods to increase dissemination and availability of NWS information and to allow consolidation of several existing email dissemination systems and reduce duplication of effort within the agency.
