Hi Weathermaniacs! This is going to be a quick blog. Yesterday saw the first major tornado outbreak for 2010. At this time there were a reported 30 tornadoes yesterday. I had a highly successful Virtual Storm Chase day. Saw three live tornadoes on te ground. One I watched crossing the road. You could see the rotation! Talk about insane. The other two were huge rain wrapped tornadoes.
Also followed Reed in the Dominator. There was a bar across his feed that said discovery.com/stormchasers, so I wonder if he was out shooting film for the upcoming season of Stormchasers. Pretty cool I think!
As I am writing this, this is day two of the outbreak, and there is another scheduled tomorrow so I look to be busy following all the action. Let me hear from you and your take!
Also, we may have some severe storms here in Columbus land tomorrow and/or tomorrow night so heads up!
